A visual exploration of Rajasthan, bringing together its folklore, architecture, ecology and cosmic traditions through a contemporary lens. Developed with XXL Collective, the project explored the relationship between tradition and modernity through storytelling.

The concept was rooted in the idea of a rug, where individual threads come together to create something whole. Each thread represents a different layer of Rajasthan, from its people and stories to its landscapes and traditions, woven together to capture the essence of the region.

The resulting illustration creates a rich visual tapestry inspired by Rajasthan’s colours, patterns, architecture and natural landscape. It reflects a place where culture, nature, people and time are deeply interconnected.
